Katherine Lingras

Katie specializes in early childhood mental health, with particular emphasis on the impact of social-emotional development, behavior regulation, and trauma on children’s (and their families’) functioning. In addition to outpatient treatment and assessment, Katie’s clinical and research projects are centered on community-based collaboration with pediatric primary care clinics and early childcare programs, where she provides training and mental health consultation for the providers and individual children/families. Her experience and expertise sits at the intersection of early childhood development research, practical applications, and policy implications. Katie also has particular interest in program evaluation and qualitative mechanisms for capturing the nuances of program- and system-wide change and how best to support these efforts.Full bio
