LeAnne Johnson

Dr. LeAnne Johnson, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota.  Her current program of research is focused on how to promote data-driven problem solving that promotes the adoption and implementation of interventions that effectively improve learning opportunities available to young children who engage in behaviors that interfere with learning.  She leads multiple state and federally funded research projects seeking to translate research-based interventions and models to sustainable and effective practices in classrooms throughout the country.  Dr. Johnson serves as a core faculty member to the National Center for Leadership in Intensive Intervention and as a member of the State Leadership Team for the Minnesota Centers of Excellence for Young Children with Disabilities.  Dr. Johnson also directs the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Licensure and M.Ed. program at the University of Minnesota.
