Meredith’s research focuses on understanding how attachment relationships during adolescence can promote healthy emotion regulation and well-being or contribute to the development of psychopathology. This work includes the development, implementation, and evaluation of interventions for adolescent depression that promote close attachment relationships. She also conducts research on the development of adaptive interventions, which provide clinical guidelines for selecting, combining, and sequencing interventions to personalize the intervention approach.
